Welcome to the Jackson Health System/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Emergency Medicine Residency Program. We offer a comprehensive patient-centered model designed to train compassionate and expert Emergency Medicine leaders.  Our EM residency provides a well-rounded curriculum that conforms to the standards of the ACGME to develop outstanding future clinicians and scholars.  Rotation locations include the University of Miami Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital in neighboring Broward County. &lt;br /&gt;

Established in the heart of Miami in 1918, Jackson Memorial Hospital is the largest public hospital in the nation.  Our emergency department sees an average of 110,000 adults and pediatric visits per year and is home to the only Level One Trauma Center serving the 2.6 million habitants of Miami-Dade County and beyond.  As the county’s safety net hospital, we see a broad spectrum of conditions and diseases and proudly make a difference in the lives of our patient population daily.
