Indications
- Evaluate for subtle carpometacarpal fractures, such as collateral ligament avulsion fractures
- Evaluate arthritic pathology

- Flex metocarpalphalangeal joints of the affected hand to 65 degrees, evert thumb
- Place dorsal aspect of fingers on image receptor
