Background

  • N2O4 (NTO) is used as a propellant.

Clinical Features

  • Eye burning and tearing
  • Cutaneous pruritis
  • Shortness of breath
  • Cough
  • Pulmonary edema

Treatment

  • Supportive care after removal from the contaminated environment.
