Internal Medicine Admissions

Starting 5/30/16

  • Admit to Inpatient Hospitalist on Saturday
  • Admit to Inpatient Hospitalist overnight (8pm-7:30am)
  • Admissions requested in appropriate time block, can overflow to later time block if prior filled.
  • No change for ICU/CCU admissions (Ward call, Third call respectively)

Starting 7/1/16

  • Admit to Inpatient Hospitalist on Tuesday and Saturday
  • Admit to Night Admitting Resident (NAR) overnight (8pm-7:30am), cap of 8 patients
  • If NAR cap reached, admit to Inpatient Hospitalist
