Background
The axillary nerve supplies innervation to:
- Deltoid
- Teres minor
- Long head of triceps
- Skin over lateral shoulder
Injury associated with anterior shoulder dislocation
Clinical Features
- Inability to abduct arm
- Decreased sensation to skin over deltoid
