Clinical Features
- Reversible Pulpitis
- Duration of pain is short (seconds)
- Associated with noxious stimuli (usually cold or heat, can also be elicited by sweat and sour)
- Irreversible Pulpitis
- Duration of pain is long (hours) and intense
- Associated with noxious stimuli or may occur spontaneously
