Patients that need to be evaluated in specialty clinic:

  • Any patient (OOP, MHLA, or DHS eligible) can go as a continuation of ED visit to evaluate a possible emergent medical condition on same day or next business day follow up.
  • Should be discharged to clinic and then discharged home from the clinic
  • Unless that patient needs additional work up in ED or needs admission
  • At Harbor, typically used for Ophtho, ENT, OMFS, Cast Room (Ortho)
