Training Locations

Primary Hospital

•Norman Regional Health System is a multi-campus system that serves healthcare needs throughout south central Oklahoma. Our two main Emergency Departments are located in Norman, Oklahoma – home to the University of Oklahoma and the state’s third largest city. We also operate a modular, freestanding Emergency Department in Moore, Oklahoma. (The original hospital and emergency room were destroyed in a tornado.)

In the average year, more than 100,000 patients receive treatment at one of our EDs.

Curriculum

PGY1

6 blocks of Emergency Medicine 1 block of Pediatric Emergency Medicine 1 block of ICU 1 block of OB/GYN 1 block of IM 1 block of House Officer 2 weeks of General Surgery 2 weeks of Cardiothoracic surgery 2 weeks of OMM 2 weeks of Vacation (each block is 4 weeks)
