Background
- Indications include MS, muscle spasticity pain
- GABAb receptor agonist
Toxicity
- Adverse effects:
- Drowziness, dizziness
- N/V
- Seizures, delirium, AMS
- Bradycardia, hypotension, respiratory compromise
Management
- Diagnosis of exclusion
- Activated charcoal for recent ingestion
- Supportive care:
- IV fluids, respiratory care
- Benzodiazepines for seizures
- Hemodialysis for very severe toxicity
