Mechanism
- Venom contains tetrodotoxin
- inhibits voltage-gated Na+ channels causing paralysis
Symptoms
- Erythema
- Paresthesias
- Flaccid paralysis
- Respiratory Failure
Treatment
- Supportive
- No antivenom
