Substance Abuse Referrals (drug or ETOH use)
Medication Assisted Treatment Consult Service
- Candidates:
- Opiate Use Disorder patients who agree to discuss MAT (e.g. buprenorphine)
- Stimulant Use Disorder patients who agree to discuss potential treatments
- Age 16 and older
- Cerner communicate to Yvette Cerna or
- Call 3/697-6030 or x64398 Mon to Thurs 8a-4p
- Afterhours: SW consult
- DHS MAT Consultation Line for prescribing guidance or no x-waivered provider available: 8a-12midnight (213) 288-9090
SW consult available 24/7, write indication as 'SUD'
- Remember to also prescribe or give patient with ANY SUD intranasal naloxone (e.g. marijuana, EtOH, meth, etc.)
