Evaluation

Scrotal ultrasound of a 10 cm large hydrocele, with anechoic (dark) fluid surrounding the testicle.

• +Transillumination
• Consider testicular ultrasound

Management

• Generally can by managed conservatively unless complicated by the presence of a pyocele

Disposition

• Referral to urologist
