Background

  • Diffuse Alveolar Hemorrhage (DAH) is a life-threatening condition.
  • It is a subset of Pulmonary hemorrhage involving the microcirculation involving alveolar microvasculature.

Most commonly the result of systemic vasculitis. [1]

Clinical Features

  • Hemoptysis
  • Anemia
  • Diffuse lung infiltrates
  • Acute respiratory failure
