Serious

  • Severe asthma exacerbation, asthma-related death
  • Prolonged QT interval

  • Excretion: Mostly fecal

Mechanism of Action

  • Long-acting beta-2 agonist, stimulates adenyl cyclase→ increased levels of cyclic AMP→ bronchial smooth muscle relaxation
