      • Arterial-arterial emboli from proximal source
      • Fat emboli
      • Septic emboli
    • Hypoperfusion
      • Cardiac failure resulting in systemic hypotension
  • Hemorrhagic (13%)
    • Intracerebral
      • Hypertension
