Background
- Extremely rare (<1% of all carpal fractures)
- Occurs via axial load onto second (index) metacarpal
Clinical Features
- Tenderness along radial aspect augmented by applying pressure along second metacarpal

- Triquetrum fracture
- Pisiform fracture
- Trapezium fracture
- Trapezoid fracture
- Capitate fracture
- Hamate fracture
Evaluation
- Difficult to visualize on x-ray; CT or MRI may be necessary
