General

While any doctor can contribute to WikEM, many EM residents are interested in mastering the content on the site, while updating it with new information as they learn it. The information is then always at their own fingertips (see WikEM:Mobile Apps), while also benefiting emergency medicine clinicians around the globe.

Toward that end, we are looking to add additional Resident Editors, one for each EM residency program. The responsibilities of the Resident Editors are:

  • Making general contributions and staying active on the site
  • Creating and monitoring any residency-specific information for their program on WikEM

Requirements

No programming experience necessary

The qualifications and expectations are:

  • R1 or greater in an Emergency Medicine program.
  • Be in good standing in your residency
  • Willing to contribute new posts/improvements on a regular basis
  • Commit to 1 year
  • Have achieved a Contribution Score of >25 with high quality edits (as judged by the editorial staff)

Contact Drs. Allen Bookatz <ztakooba@gmail.com> and Dan Ostermayer <dan@wikem.org> if you meet the requirements and are interested.
