Clinical Features

  • Potent lachrymal agent
  • Symptom onset may be immediate after exposure or delayed 1-2 days
  • Mucosal irritation of eyes, nose, pharynx, skin
  • Cough, chest pain, SOB
  • At high levels: pulmonary edema, severe reactive airway disease, bronchial/alveolar hemorrhage
