Baycare Health System St. Joseph's Hospital
History
Since 1932, St. Joseph's Hospital has served the Tampa Bay community. We have one of, if not the busiest EDs in the city with nearly 120,000 annual visits. Baycare launched its GME initiatives in 2022. We are proud to have matched our inaugural emergency medicine class in 2025 with our first 10 residents and plan to continue to matriculate 10 residents annually for a total of 30.
