Hackensack University Medical Center
History
Their program is an ACGME PGY 1-2-3 program with 36 residents and 40 faculty located in northern New Jersey, just 15 minutes from New York City. They are the largest EM residency program in the state of New Jersey.
Their mission is to train physicians with the passion to become the best Emergency Physicians. They accomplish this by recruiting highly-motivated candidates who appreciate the patient-centered and team-approach to medical training. This training occurs at one of the nation’s most highly recognized institutions. They provide you with the tools, resources and opportunities to flourish in both academic and community emergency medicine.
