Administration

Adult Dosing

  • 200mg PO 1-4 times per day

Contraindications

  • Allergy to class/drug
  • Concomitant use of CYP3A4 substrates (e.g. ergots, lurasidone, methadone, oral midazolam, simvastatin, ticagrelor, and triazolam)
  • Ventricular dysfunction (relative)

Mechanism of Action

  • Inhibits synthesis of ergosterol (fungal cell membrane component)
