History

Since 1860, New York Medical College (NYMC) has trained generations of students from all over the world to deliver skilled and compassionate medical care, explore the basic science questions that lead to important discoveries, and provide leadership in the field of public health and essential services to people with specialized care needs.

Emergency Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center = 5.5 months

Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center = 1 month

Emergency Medicine at Harlem Hospital Center = 1 month

Anesthesia at Harlem Hospital Center = 1 week

Ultrasound at Metropolitan Hospital Center = 1 week

Internal Medicine at Westchester Medical Center = 1 month

CCU at Westchester Medical Center = 1 month

MICU at Westchester Medical Center = 1 month

Vacation = 1 month (full month or 2 weeks at a time)

PGY2

Emergency Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center = 5 months

Emergency Medicine at Harlem Hospital Center = 1.5 months

Emergency Medicine at Westchester Medical Center = 1 month

TICU at Westchester Medical Center = 1 month

PICU at Westchester Medical Center = 1 month

Orthopedics at Metropolitan Hospital Center = 2 weeks

Ultrasound at Metropolitan Hospital Center = 1 week

OB-GYN at Metropolitan Hospital Center = 2 weeks

PGY3

Emergency Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital Center = 7.75 months

Emergency Medicine at Harlem Hospital Center = 1.5 months

Anesthesia at Harlem Hospital Center = 1 week

EMS Metropolitan/FDNY = 2 weeks

Toxicology at Bellevue = 2 weeks

Elective = 2 weeks

Vacation = 1 month (full month or 2 weeks at a time)
