Background
- Most often due to blunt orbital trauma
- Can cause loss of vision due to abrupt increase in intraocular pressure
- Also known as retrobulbar hematoma
Clinical Features
- Pain
- Proptosis
- Decreasing vision
Diagnosis
- Tonometry
- Only measure once globe rupture has been ruled-out
